WHAT IS THE PUMP GOLF JUNIOR PROGRAM?

Pump Golf has been developed as a national brand to cover all junior golf programs being offered at clubs and/or driving ranges by PGA members and accredited community coaches through Australia

Pump Golf provides a quality introductory development program to help juniors learn the game. The main aim of the pumpgolf program is to increase the number of juniors playing golf.

THE GOLF CLUB/DRIVING RANGE:

Each golf club and/or driving range that meets the criteria set will be promoted as a “Pump Golf Junior Centre” and will receive the following:
• A listing on the PGA website identifying them as a Pump Golf Junior Centre – a search engine similar to the “find a PGA Professional” has been developed to make it easy for the public to find out about the club’s junior program.
• Promotional materials identifying the facility as a Pump Golf Junior Centre
• A newly developed teaching resource developed by PGA professionals which provides ideas for teaching juniors, suggests games to support the teaching of juniors and provides skills tests for juniors linked to a junior skills passport
• Pump Golf Junior Passports for each juniors in the club based program which contains interesting information, helpful hints and the skills tests for juniors to complete and record
• The opportunity to purchase safety/teaching aids at discount prices to assist with the delivery of the program

JUNIORS:

Every Pump Golf Junior Centre will be able to give their juniors the opportunity to:
• Win over $20,000 in golf prizes by entering their details on this website
• Receive a Pump Golf Junior Passport
• Compete in a 9 Hole Shootout feature event at their club to win trophies and an experience at their state PGA Championships. Major winners will win an opportunity to experience a junior golfers trip of a lifetime – a trip to the PGA Junior Festival of Golf and the Australian PGA Championships

How do I take part in the Pump Golf junior feature events?
Look out for event posters at your local club or facility and keep an eye on the Events listing on this website to find events in your local area. All you have to do then is phone the relevant club and put your name down to participate.
