2010 PUMP GOLF SHOOTOUTS

Due to the resounding success of the Pump Golf Shootouts in 2009, this year we have extended the staging period to run from April 17 - October 10 2010.

Pump Golf Shootout - What is it?
The Pump Golf Shootout is a 9 Hole event for juniors aged up to 16 years of age. The aim of the Pump Golf Shootout is to give your juniors a chance to win a trip of a lifetime to the 2010 Pump Golf Junior Festival. Each junior that wins either the scratch or net event at their local Shootout will receive a trophy and goes into the major prize draw to win the trip away.

I"m a junior, how do I play in a Pump Golf Shootout?

Pump Golf Shootouts are open to boys and girls aged up to 16 years of age and you do not need a handicap to play. All Pump Golf Shootout events will be listed on the Pump Golf website. All you need to do is use the contact details that are provided for each event, contact the club and you will be free to play. So keep an eye on the website to find a club running a shootout nearest to you.

I'm a Golf Club, how can I run a Pump Golf Shootout?

All you need to do to host a Pump Golf Shootout is pick a date within the staging period (APRIL 17 – OCTOBER 10 2010) fill in the event registration form (see below), fax it back, and the PGA will do the rest. Following your event registration and prior to your event we will send you a staking kit which will include the following items:
•Participation Gift for every junior – this year it is a Pump Golf Visor and Water bottle
•Event Posters to help promote your Shootout
•Winners Trophies (Scratch and Net)
•Operations Guide on how to best run your day
•Registration and Results Sheets and Post event reconciliation forms
#NB Clubs are able to run multiple shootout events over the course of the staging period.

What is the Pump Golf Junior Festival?

Approximately 80 lucky juniors will be drawn from the national pool of scratch and net winners to win a place at the Festival. The Pump Golf Junior Festival is held on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and is run in conjunction with the Australian PGA Championship. At the Festival juniors can expect an action packed few days filled with plenty of golf, fun activities, coaching and development. It includes two competition rounds at Twin Waters Golf club, the opportunity to meet and hang out with tour players and also a visit to the Australian PGA Championships held at Hyatt Regency Coolum.
